The main museum is housed in what was formerly the Callbeck Store. From 1899-1991 this building was a commercial and social hub for the community of Central Bedeque and the wider area. Exhibits span two floors proudly telling the history of the Callbeck store and the local community. Here you can learn about the history of the indigenous Mi'kmaq, the Acadians, the Loyalists and the Irish settlers in the area, as well as local industries and stories like that of the Mizuno family.
