Donating material or an object

The Bedeque Area Historical Museum will collect artefacts, archival material and contemporary literature that relates to the social history of the “Bedeque Area” defined as communities within Lots 25, 26 and 27.

This includes but is not limited to

  • Items relating to the Callbeck store or family.
  • Items relating to the Red Barn Museum or Howard Clark.
  • Items relating to the Lower Bedeque School, the “Friends of the Lower Bedeque School”, or L.M. Montgomery.
  • Items relating to current exhibitions topics.
  • Items relating to the United Empire Loyalists of Prince Edward Island.

Generally, the museum will not accept donation of large items such as large agricultural material due to collections storage restrictions. Exceptions will be made by vote by the BAHS Board of Directors.

We kindly request that if you have an object or material that you would like to donate to the Bedeque Area Historical Museum, that you send a message by email to: [email protected] or [email protected]
In your email, please include any photos and information you have about the item(s) being donated.

As our space is limited, please understand that we cannot accept all offers. Additionally, not all items that are accepted may be able to be displayed.
